TESTOSTERONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY
Injections
Testosterone can be administered subcutaneously or intramuscular. Discuss with your Provider the preferred route, dosage, and frequency of administration.
Topicals
Delivery of the bioidentical hormones through the skin as a cream or gel has become a mainstay of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for women and men. A plethora of FDA-approved pharmaceuticals, and compounded products are available. The popularity of these products lies not only in their ease of use, but in proven clinical efficacy [1-5] in treating hormonal deficiencies mostly brought on by aging of the female (menopause) and male (andropause) reproductive systems.
Pellets
Pellets are compounded estradiol or testosterone that are made from organic plant materials, which have the exact molecular structure of those hormones found in the body. They are pressed into a solid compound that is about the size of a cooked grain of rice. Using a painless office procedure, they are inserted under the skin in the hip area. The pellets release small amounts of hormone directly into the bloodstream similar to that which the ovaries and testes produced during our younger adult years.
Troches
A troche is a small lozenge designed to dissolve between a person’s cheek and gum over a period of time; typically 30 minutes. As the troche dissolves in the patient’s mouth, the medication is absorbed through the oral mucosa and gradually absorbs into the bloodstream. Troches are commonly used to administer bioidentical hormones in a patient, and can be flavored to mask bitterness, if needed.

Oral Agents
Sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra, Staxyn), tadalafil (Cialis) and avanafil (Stendra) are oral medications that reverse erectile dysfunction by enhancing the effects of nitric oxide, a natural chemical your body produces that relaxes muscles in the penis.
Intra-Cavernous Pharmacotherapy
ICP is safe and suitable for most men with Erectile Dysfunction, regardless of age or medical condition. It's a highly specialized form of ED treatment and yet simple to apply. ICP treatment has been widely used since the mid 80's. Medical professionals who specialize in this form of treatment use various different combinations of medications.
Platelet Rich Plasma Injections
Erectile dysfunction is quite common in older men and is becoming more common in younger men. Whether it is physical or psychological PRP
therapy, also known as the P-Shot, is recommended by many doctors for male sexual rejuvenation. In addition, many men who lose function in their penis due to prostate cancer opt in to PRP injections for sexual enhancement. The PRP injection will help boost the sensation with blood circulation to achieve your patient’s expectations.
